U.K. Abortion Ad Sparks Heated Debate

One commercial is flaring up plenty of controversy.

Marie Stopes International, a sexual health group akin to the U.S.’s Planned Parenthood, has purchased a time slot for a 30-second commercial scheduled to air Monday night throughout the U.K. While the ad does not directly mention abortion, it points women to a 24-hour hotline after posing the question, “Are you late?” (via TIME’s Wellness blog)
