Simon Monjack was found dead in Los Angeles, just five months after his wife, actress Brittany Murphy, died from pneumonia and multiple drug intoxication.
People is reporting that Monjack, a British screenwriter, was discovered in his home on Sunday night and later declared dead, citing a report from the Los Angeles coroner’s office. There was no immediate word on the cause of death, although the Guardian is reporting Monjack suffered a heart attack.
Monjack was 38. His credits include writing 2006′s Factory Girl and 2001′s Two Days Nine Lives.
Update: AP reporting the LAPD says Mojack appears to have died from natural causes.
