Facebook Grows During Thailand Violence

While social disorder reigns on the streets, social networking is getting more users at home.

The Christian Science Monitor dissects how the physical violence in Thailand has contributed to a massive jump in online barnstorming. The publication cites statistics which show that since March’s arrival of red-shirted protesters in Bangkok, the number of Facebook users in the country has risen by 40 percent.
