It may be several weeks before the cause of Slipknot bassist Paul Gray’s death is determined.

CNN reports that Tuesday’s autopsy showed no foul play in Gray’s death. Toxicology test results will be necessary to solve the full mystery.

Gray died on Monday at the age of 38, at a TownePlace hotel in the suburbs of Des Moines, Iowa. Tuesday’s examination did find that Gray was dead for several hours before a staff member found his body.
