Fleet Week 2010, beginning in New York today, may be a quintessential experience for tourists. But for the sailors themselves, New York has its share of memorable “perks.”

A year ago, CBS Late Show host David Letterman brought in ten members of the U.S. Marines, Navy and Coast Guard to riff on their time in New York City.

What were their thoughts on the city’s lavish prices, questionable tastes, and not-so-functional rules of the road?
