If you’ve ever napped on an airplane, wake up to hear Ginger McGuire’s case against a team of domestic airline carriers.

CNN reports that the 36-year old Michigan filed a lawsuit on Thursday, alleging that she fell asleep during a United Express flight, but woke up in a locked empty plane.

McGuire is seeking $25,000 and $75,000, on claims of negligence, infliction of emotional distress, false imprisonment and breach of contract. Her complaint to Wayne County Circuit court alleges that after she was discovered four hours later by the plane’s cleaning crew, it alerted the Transportation Security Administration, leading to her being “wrongfully detained and interrogated.”

The CNN report also shows that United Airlines and Trans States Airlines, which together operated the United Express flight in question, are investigating. Trans States spokesman Fred Oxley was unable to comment in the CNN report on the suit’s allegations.

But he did confirm that the plane disturbance happened.

“On the incident itself, I can tell you that it did occur and certainly that investigation is ongoing,” Oxley said.
