With their game 2 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday night, the Chicago Blackhawks are halfway home in securing their first Stanley Cup since the 1961 season. But where is the actual Stanley Cup right now?

It’s in the hands of Mike Bolt, the NHL’s one-man secret service, whose sole responsibility is to protect the famous sports trophy. TIME’s Claire Suddath recently spoke with Bolt about what goes into his unique job.
