Lady Gaga took to Larry King’s prime-time show Tuesday night, and revealed that she had nearly finalized plans to perform alongside Michael Jackson on his This Is It tour.
“I don’t necessarily like to talk about those very personal things that happened but I guess I can speak about it now,” Gaga said Tuesday night. “I was actually asked to open for Michael on his tour and we were going to open for him at the O2 and we were working on making it happen.”
Aside from opening for the late King of Pop, Gaga also said that there was talk of the opening acts performing with Michael during the main show – pointing to a Gaga/MJ duet that surely would have been one of the more memorable (not to mention eccentric) stage spectacles in recent memory.
Also discussed on the show were the recent rumors concerning Lady Gaga being tested for Lupus.
Gaga said that the disease is present in her family tree, and the a recent test showed she was “borderline positive” for the condition. But it currently is not having a significant impact on her life.
