Glee Takes Its Bow with ‘To Sir, With Love’

It was a syrupy-sweet end to the cheesy (and addicting) first season of Glee.

Fittingly, one of the show’s last songs was a tribute to Mr. Schuester, and the producers dug into movie history to come up with the track. To Sir With Love was a 1967 British flick starring Sidney Poitier as a teacher at a rough-and-tumble London high school. While Glee high school is, uh, decidedly tamer (slushie attacks aside), the show cribbed the To Sir with Love title song, sung by Lulu, for the season finale.

The original version is below. Who sung it better?
