People is reporting the Monaco royal plans to wed the South African swimmer, although no date has been set.

Albert, 52, has never married, although he has two children. The couple is thought to have begun dating in 2006, and Wittstock has lived in Monaco since 2007. The pair announced their engagement shortly after attending another royal wedding this past weekend — that of Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria.

Besides his royal connection, Albert is famous for being the son of American actress Grace Kelly. He’s also a former Winter Olympian, competing for his tiny nation’s bobsled team in five separate winter games before retiring and joining the International Olympic Committee. He is a graduate of Amherst College in Massachusetts. (via People)
