A new preserve in London has a touch of royal history in its recipe.

The AP reports that Bompas and Parr, a catering company specializing in fine jellies, has created a spread made from a strand of the late princess of Wales’ hair.

Founder Sam Bompas told the AP that his new “occult jam” comes together when a consommé of gin, milk, sugar is mixed with a sample of Diana’s golden locks. In terms of taste, the finished food product was likened to condensed milk.

Regardless of how that thought flies next to a biscuit or toast, jars are being sold at a surrealist art show housed in London’s Barbican Art Gallery. Each portion costs five British pounds ($7.60).
