Robert Pattinson is really a descendent of one of the most famous vampires of all time (after Edward Cullen, that is): Dracula.
Ancestry.com, the website that allows you to trace your ancestral heritage, says that they’ve discovered a familial line between Pattinson, the star of the biggest vampire movie on earth right now, and 15th-Century prince Vlad the III. Known as Vlad the Impaler, because of his grotesque methods of torturing people, the prince was the source of inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
Cue creepy Twilight Zone music. However, this revelation doesn’t help to explain why Pattinson’s Twilight character is so lame.
