TMZ kept Lohan in the news for another afternoon, writing that Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, is no longer representing the actress. If Holley in fact resigned, it represents a sharp turn away from her statement on Thursday morning, calling Lohan’s jail-time “unfair.”
“The reality is that Ms. Lohan, like most defendants, had to balance work commitments and court requirements,” Holley said, as reported by Reuters. “To be punished so severely for doing so, particularly in light of the fact that she substantially complied with each of her probationary conditions, is harsh and unfair.”
