Has James Bond finally met his match?

Reportedly MGM Studios is suffering from crippling debt and has postponed production of all movies—including the 23rd James Bond film. This comes on the heels of the much-anticipated The Hobbit stalling in pre-production as well.

The film was slated to have a pretty heavyweight line-up involved. Daniel Craig was set to return as the martini-swilling agent, directed by Sam Mendes with a script written by Peter Morgan.

There’s been no word on if and when production will resumed. (via CelebBuzz)
