Mother Nature Takes Pity on Northeast, Ends Heat Wave

You can get out of the kiddie pool now – temperatures in the Northeast are calming down after a record heat wave. Don’t get too hopeful, though: it’s still really, really humid out there.

The National Weather Service predicted milder temperatures in the Northeast, though humidity will still be high. Though, at this point, mid-80s is considered cool compared to the triple digits the region saw earlier this week.

Even though things are cooling off, don’t break out any sweaters – the NWS is predicting a high of 90, with humidity making it feel even hotter, on the east coast until next week.
