Controversy erupted once again around actor Mel Gibson on Friday, as explicit recorded phone calls hit the web and a big-league entertainment agency announced that they would be dropping the Oscar-winner.

The New York Times confirmed that William Morris Endeavor released Gibson from its lineup of stars. This comes one week after the actor came under fire for a private gaffe — published transcripts showing him acting violently toward his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva.

The site that unveiled the material, RadarOnline.com, took that news one step further on Friday, releasing recordings of the same altercation between Gibson and Grigorieva. The AP reports that Gibson directed racial slurs, violent threats and plenty of profanity within the audio.
