Monday’s Amusement-Park Assault: Two employees at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Ill. were ejected from the park on Monday afternoon after allegedly attacking a female colleague dressed as “Porky Pig.” The local police sergeant claims the men took a photo with the mascot before punching it in the head 10 to 15 times.

Tuesday’s Horn-Honking Dog: Chocolate Labradors are apparently smarter than some humans. A veterinarian in the Allentown, Pa. suburb of Macungie said a dog trapped in a car on a 90-degree day honked the horn until he was rescued. The animal was trapped for nearly an hour. No charges were levied against the owner.

Wednesday’s Ankle-Monitor Miscue: Border agents say a New York man tried to explain away the ankle monitor he was wearing while returning from Canada by claiming it was a show of support for actress Lindsay Lohan.

Thursday’s Car-Sex Cover-Up: Authorities reported that a New Jersey woman lied twice to cover up the theft of a laptop computer. Fib No. 1 – her car was carjacked. Fib No. 2 – her car crashed because she was having sex.

Friday’s Bad-Luck Bandit: Police in Wenatchee, Wash. arrested a 47-year-old man on Friday as a suspect in a first-degree theft case. The man left a store where Native American collectibles were stolen, but in his attempt to drive away, his vehicle ran out of gas.
