Our national day of redemption is at hand: Some time this afternoon, heroic martyr Lindsay Lohan will go to jail for our sins. But what can the actress expect from her 90-day sentence of penitence and toil?

On July 6, Judge Marsha N. Revel sentenced Lohan to 90 days in prison for violating the terms of her parole, though due to prison overcrowding in California, Lohan’s actual jail time will be much less. That’s what happened in 2007, when the actress spent 84 minutes in jail at the Lynwood Correctional Facility — the same jail she will report to today. What’s life at Lynwood like?

For starters, Lohan’s going to have to worry about a lot of mean girls: Lynwood is an all-female prison with 2,200 inmates. (Though considering her taste in DJs, this may be just her luck.) Lohan will reportedly get her own 6’x10′ cell, for ‘security reasons.’

Hollywood Life has an additional roundup of the iniquities to which Lindsay will be subjected. She will get only around an hour a day outside her cell, and will be forbidden from smoking or taking any drugs not prescribed by a doctor. There are no cellphones or computers in jail, which means no self-aggrandizing Twitter updates. Lohan will be able to exercise three times a week, but — in an exclusive scoop — TMZ reports that she will only be allowed to shower every other day.

If that wasn’t enough, FOX News has a picture of the grim cell where Lohan will spend her days. However, there is some good news: her parents will only be able to visit twice a week!
