Rick Warren announced on Twitter that he’d been hospitalized for an eye-injury, and was praying that his “sight loss” was restored.
The 56-year-old pastor Tweeted about his injury from a “toxic poison”, saying he was in “excruciating pain” and had been hospitalized. Rumors have been circulating the Internet, about the extent of Warren’s blindness.
However, the Associated Press reports that spokesperson Larry Ross has said that Warren is not in fact blind. Apparently he was gardening and a toxic sap that can cause blindness got into his eyes, but he was treated and his eyes are expected to fully recover.
So Warren was blind (or at least indicated so on Twitter), but now he sees. It’s just too easy…
