Well, along with the rest of the Jersey Shore cast that is.

Because they aren’t already everywhere else, the cast of MTV’s hit show was on hand today at the New York Stock Exchange to ring the opening bell. The floor was packed as CNBC reported that the NYSE ran out of guest passes for the big event.

While news outlets had plenty of snark to go around for the occasion—the Financial Times wrote, “Let bad taste, GTL and drunken fights ensue,”—the cast members were actually well behaved. Dressed rather demurely in jackets and high collars, the cast pulled the reigns back on the antics that have made them famous.

Then again, they might have had a little help. According to NPR, publicists for the cast responded to an interview request with, “They’re allowed to stand and smile, they’re not allowed to talk.”
