Every year the First Family tries to come up with a fun way to wish Barack a happy birthday, Michelle Obama said. This year, Michelle and Organizing for America, the political arm of the Democratic National Committee are hoping — after a trying year in office that saw his approval ratings decline — that the president still has enough fans to garner a show of Internet birthday support. She asks that you join her in wishing Obama a ‘Happy 49th Birthday’ on August 4 by adding your electronic signature to his online card.
You can sign the card here — just don’t be surprised if the only thanks you get is a place on Organizing for America’s email list.
