And the Boyfriend of the Year Award goes to, unsurprisingly, not this guy.
Apparently, chivalry really is dead.
At Monday night’s Houston Astros game, a young woman was hit by a foul ball after her boyfriend jumped out of the way at the last second, leaving his date with seam marks on her arm. The woman, Sarah, was beaned in the right arm by the ball, hit by Astro Chris Johnson, when her boyfriend Bo ducked out of the way, claiming to have lost the ball “in the lights.”
“As soon as we got here and I saw where we were sitting, I said ‘Baby, we’re going to get hit,'” Sarah told cameras during the game. “He said, ‘No, I’ll catch it if you do. We just had this conversation and sure enough, the ball comes at me. He just bailed.”
Looks like Sarah could use another date, maybe one with a better eye and a few more guts.
