Fresh off of being put on blast by Rolling Stone magazine, retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal will bring his knowledge of all things military to the Ivy League as he takes a job teaching at Yale University, Politico reported Monday.

McChrystal, who was quoted saying disparaging things about members of the Obama Administration in the Rolling Stone interview, and was subsequently canned by the President, is switching lanes from hunting down Taliban bad guys to teaching graduate students at the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs in New Haven.

In a statement, the university said the course McChrystal, whose last job was commanding U.S. forces in Afghanistan, is to teach this fall will “examine how dramatic changes in globalization have increased the complexity of modern leadership.”
