Dr. Frank Ryan, Plastic Surgeon to the Stars, Dies in Car Accident

Prominent plastic surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan was killed in car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway in California, TMZ reports. He was 50.

Law enforcement agents told TMZ that Ryan’s Jeep went over the side of the highway Monday afternoon, leaving Ryan trapped in the car, suffering major head injuries.

Ryan was a plastic surgeon to celebrities like Adrianne Curry and Gene Simmons, and gained notoriety after performing Heidi Montag’s drastic surgery.  He was one of the first doctors to perform plastic surgery on television in 1995.
