Finance and rap are two genres that don’t typically mesh, but as this video from the Main Street Brigade shows, maybe they should…

This surprisingly catchy “Sheriff Warren Wrap” is an amazing combination. In addition to it being a rap song about Elizabeth Warren, chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel created to investigate the bank bailout, it’s also Western-themed. Comedian Ryan Anthony Lumas sings Warren’s praises, building her up as a person who will protect all of us from the big, bad banks. “Elizabeth Warren, we got your back,” he says. “Wall Street, you better watch out.”

The only time Warren herself appears in the video is on the cover of the May 24 issue of TIME. Like the song, the cover headline reads, “The New Sheriffs of Wall Street.

While not immediately clear from the group’s website, the Main Street Brigade seems to align with consumer and liberal groups who push for tougher Wall Street regulation.

Warren is also a potential nominee for the first-ever director of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection, a new agency created by the recently passed financial reform legislation.
