If fall album releases from Taylor Swift and Good Charlotte don’t exactly have you marking your calendars, maybe this will.

Bob Dylan has announced details for the ninth installment of his exceptional Bootleg Series. Out October 19, the two-disc set contains 47 songs that Dylan recorded from 1962 to 1964 for his first two music publishers, Leeds Music and M. Witmark & Sons.

As with previous Bootleg Series installments, on The Witmark Demos, Dylan archivists and music nerds can expect rare and unreleased gems, and early interpretations of his most famous work—in this case “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “The Times They Are A-Changin’.” While we no doubt appreciated his fun, albeit creepy (there’s no way that gravelly voice singing “Here Comes Santa Clause” didn’t scare the hell out of every kid that heard it), 2009 charity album of Christmas standards, we’re sure glad to be getting some vintage Dylan.

And just in case 47 unreleased recordings isn’t enough politically tinged folk rock to tide you over, Columbia also plans to release Bob Dylan – The Original Mono Recordings, the mono recordings of his first eight LPs, the very same day. We’ve literally died and gone to record geek heaven.
