Elin Nordegren hasn’t spoken to the media over the course of these past nine months but People managed to get the scoop. Over the course of four visits to her rental home in Florida, the magazine got tidbits along the lines of, “I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children,” to, “I also feel stronger than I ever have. I have confidence in my beliefs, my decisions and myself.”
What’s more, she told the magazine this was her first – and only – interview, as she wants to remain a private person. But with her divorce settlement rumored at anywhere between $100 million to as much as five times that amount, it’s unlikely that people (or, indeed, People) will stop showing an interest anytime soon.
