It’s being compared to the Crown Jewels of Russia, and it was produced right here in the United States.

A farm in North Carolina famous for its emeralds has produced nearly 65-carat emerald, which is about the size of a U.S. quarter and weighs as much as a AA battery. These measurements make this the largest cut emerald ever in North America, the Associated Press reports.

The stone has been cut to mimic Catherine the Great’s famed bauble.
