We don’t know what’s stranger — that he thought he could pass for 14, or that people initially believed him.

Police said 21-year-old Julious Threatts created an alias, 14-year-old Chad Jordan, so he could play football with the Town ‘N Country Packers, a local Florida youth league. He played one game with the team, and reportedly played with another youth league beforehand.

So what could possibly have blown the 5-foot, 11-inch impostor’s cover? He apparently tried to register at a middle school under his false identity. School administrators intercepted a phone call from Threatts to his mother and confirmed the ruse.

Packers coach Ray McCloud said he thinks Threatts attempted to register because “he just wanted to play football.” But first, he’ll face charges for violation of probation, trespassing on school grounds and obstruction by a disguised person. (via AOL News)
