Google’s New Gray Logo: What It Could Mean

After a bouncy-ball extravaganza yesterday, Google’s doodle today is more subdued, but still cool. (via Techland)

When you first land on Google.com, the logo is gray. As you type into the search box, though, colorful letters appear. (See the story behind other Google doodles.)

Techland argues the doodle is a preview of Google’s rumored real-time search, which may be unveiled today. This feature would reveal search results as you type. Google is set to give a press conference today at 9:30 a.m. Pacific time
