Scientists were puzzled recently by quasar HE0450-2958, which did not appear to have a host galaxy. (As everyone knows, all quasars have host galaxies.) However, by looking at it with their Special Science Telescope, they were able to see a nearby black hole pumping the quasar with matter and energy. This will eventually create a galaxy for the quasar and black hole to move into together! Read the full, more informed story over at Wired.
