According to a recent survey, St. Louis’ The Fountain on Locust, a vintage ice cream parlor, has America’s nicest loo. (See a video here.) Bathroom product manufacturer Cintas Corp holds the annual vote, which crowned the parlor’s john, complete with hand-painted murals, intricate mirrors and ceilings and ornate bathroom fixtures, the king of pubic restrooms.

The online vote’s runner-up spot belongs to The Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City (think: Italian marble and crystal chandeliers), while third place goes to Manhattan’s public bathrooms in Bryant Park where you’ll be treated to bathroom attendants and fresh flowers.
