We’ve known this for a while now, but the replacements for Simon, Ellen and Kara have finally been announced.
During a live webcast on AmericanIdol.com, Ryan Seacrest announced the panel would include three judges — original “dawg” Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Steven Tyler.
Talk of Lopez’s Idol negotiations began back in July, though rumors swirled of her “diva demands.” We heard news of Steven Tyler a month ago. So none of this is exactly a surprise, but we do know — for sure, this time — who will be sitting behind those red Coke cups. We’ll have to tune in this season to see if Tyler and Lopez can recreate the Simon-Paula chemistry we miss so much.
