Flight Attendant Gurls: Katy Perry, Lady Gaga Spice Up Airline Safety

Passengers, please direct your attention to the Lady Gaga dancers for important safety information.

During one flight on Cebu Pacific Airlines, which serves the Philippines, flight attendants took a few extra steps to make sure people paid attention to the safety demonstration. “Cebu Pacific has always been known as a fun airline,” said Candice Iyog, the company’s vice president of marketing. “We wanted to get the message across to our customers that flight safety doesn’t have to be boring.”

For now, this was a one-time experiment, though Iyog says the airline is planning on repeating it. We’ll have to wait and see if the practice takes off in the U.S. (via Telegraph)
