Johnny Depp is probably the last person you’d expect to come to your rescue at school. But yesterday, Beatrice Delap, a nine-year-old London schoolgirl, got her wish.

After sending the Pirates of the Caribbean star a letter asking for his help to kick off a mutiny against her teachers, the star unexpectedly turned up as Captain Jack Sparrow outfit with four other cast members, reports the London Evening Standard.

Met with gasps and screams, “he pulled the letter out of his pocket and said he was going to frame it. Then he called me down and gave me a hug,” said Beatrice. Depp spent 15 minutes performing for students and dancing with fellow cast members.  He then convinced the students that mutiny against the teachers was not a good idea because there were police outside and it might get them into trouble.

Beatrice sent her letter when she found out he was filming the latest installment of Pirates Of The Caribbean at the Old Royal Naval College nearby her school. (See more at People.com)
