Starbucks hasn’t been feeling the pain of the recession this year according to Reuters.

The coffee megabusiness took a hit during the recession–closing down stores–and saw shares dip. However, it seems that Americans just can’t seem to get enough of the potent coffee–though Starbucks recently raised the prices on certain beverages, they’ve reported a six percent increase in traffic at U.S. locations.

Worldwide, Starbucks is also feeling the love, though not quite at the same levels as in America–international stores have seen a four percent traffic increase. (via Reuters)
