Football Catastrophe: Watch the Metrodome Roof Collapse

Heavy snow caused the roof of the Metrodome stadium to cave in Sunday morning, and we have the video of the spectacular (or disastrous, depending on your level of football fandom) collapse.

The New York Giants and the Minnesota Vikings were scheduled to play Sunday afternoon and the collapse has (obviously) delayed the game. After much frantic discussion, the football powers that be determined that the game should be rescheduled to take place on Monday in Detroit.

While football fans might feel that the collapse was a disaster, there is a silver lining. No one was injured in the collapse and in a great show of sportsman solidarity, other teams–like the New Orleans Saints and the Colts–all made offers to help. (via the AP)
