Angry Dad Castrates Daughter’s Boyfriend With Bread Knife

Talk about taking matters into your own hands.

Helmut Seifert, a 47-year old in Bielefeld, northwest Germany, grew angry when he learned his 17-year old daughter was involved with an older man. He asked local police to intervene, but they have no authority to end consensual relationships.

“I received a phone call anonymously that my daughter was involved with a guy 40 years older than her,” he told police. “You said you couldn’t stop him – so I did. I saw it as my duty as a father.”

According to police, Seifert then recruited two work colleagues at his factory and went to the home of Phillip Genscher, his daughter’s 57-year old lover.

“The man was forced to remove his trousers and, fully conscious, he was castrated,” police said. “The severed testicles were taken away by the perpetrator.”

Genscher nearly bled to death but managed to phone emergency services. Doctors will not be able to reattach his organs.
