As the rest of society skates its way through the remnants of the recession, the effervescent pop star has plowed her way to the top of the charts in record fashion.

Review the 2010 music reel — and Lady Gaga’s success stands out among the rest. At age 24, she became the first artist to hit 5 million digital singles sales. Outside of music, her following is unmatched, as the first celebrity with more than 10 million fans on Facebook. When it comes to presentation, her presence is overpowering — so much so that her videos have netted more than 1 billion web clicks.
