The Pope may not have much use for anything provocative, but he didn’t seem to mind when a troupe of male acrobats stripped off and performed in front of him at the Vatican City last week.

The four bare-chested men in white took to the altar and formed a human tower as a crowd of papal advisers applauded their performance. The group, appropriately named the Fratelli Pelligrini, or ‘Pilgrim Brothers’ in Italian, performed for Pope Benedict XVI as part of an international congress for the pastoral care of circus and traveling show people organized by the Vatican.

NewsFeed wonders if the Pope might be turning over a new leaf. Who knows, at this rate, he might even let Carla Bruni into the Vatican.
