As December winds down, we’re left with nothing but reruns and Christmas specials on television. But at least we’re not stuck with the worst TV shows of the year. (via Tuned In)

Over at Tuned In, TIME’s James Poniewozik has outlined the worst programs that hit airwaves this year. The worst show of 2010? Bridalplasty, the E! network’s reality show featuring brides competing for a full plastic-surgery makeover. (Yes, we swear, this show is real. Its low ratings restored our faith in humanity.) Another standout on the list was The Marriage Ref, the Jerry Seinfeld brainchild that let comedians and celebrities decide who won spousal arguments. $#*! My Dad Says, the first Twitter-feed-to-sitcom deal, scored great ratings despite its lack of actually funny jokes.

Other shows receiving the dubious distinction include LOST ripoff The Event, short-lived legal drama The Deep End and LeBron James’ hour-long special announcing his Decision to move to Miami.
