After all, everyone should be able to get a sense of erotica, right?

Canadian artist Lisa J. Murphy has been hard at work creating sexy and sensual art for the visually impaired. Inspired to give the blind the same access to photographs of the human form that sighted people have, she’s created touchable images so that blind people can literally feel their way over erotica.

Her first endeavor, a book titled Tactile Minds, was created by sculpting raised images of nude men and women on thermoform plastic pages–the same material used in braille books.

She has now created a series of bookmarks, using the same technique, that feature women in lingerie–all touchable and accompanied by braille descriptions. Sort of like a 3D Victoria’s Secret ad.

Murphy, who lives in Toronto, has volunteered with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind in the past, and has found that people have been very receptive to her art–despite it being dubbed “porn for the blind.

“I’ve had both sighted and blind friends check out my art, and the feedback has been pretty positive,” she told AOL. “Sighted people like it for the art, and for the sightless, it really is eye-opening.”
