What are the odds on this happening? Just under 14,000-to-1 actually.

Tuesday night’s were most recently synonymous with settling down to watching the madness unfold on the hit TV show Lost. But just because the show is over, hasn’t meant that the eeriness has ended. The reason? Had you played the character of Hurley’s numbers that netted him his fictional fortune on the program, you would have had four of the six numbers correct last night.

Tuesday’s Mega Millions numbers were 4, 8, 15, 25, 47 and 42 (42 being the Mega Ball number). Hurley’s numbers were 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42. On the show, he won $114 million, though he would of course be haunted by the figures over the years.

It looks as if playing his numbers will turn up a considerably less stressful $150 in real life with two lucky players (hailing from Idaho and Washington)  reportedly getting all six correct, which will result in them splitting $355 million. And that can pay for the entire Lost box set many times over.  (via CNN)
