Flood-Stricken Australia Sets Up Temporary Morgue

As Brisbane braces for more flooding today, authorities have set up at least one temporary morgue west of Australia’s third largest city in anticipation of bodies floating downstream from areas devastated in flash floods earlier this week.

At least twenty people have been killed in floods that have plagued the Australian state of Queensland for the last three weeks. The severity of the disaster increased this week as surges of water devastated several towns outside Brisbane. Ten were confirmed dead in the city of Toowoomba yesterday, and at least 67 are still missing in the region.
