That Ball of Fire, Soaring Over Oklahoma Tuesday Night? ‘Twas A Meteor

While snow was falling across the northern U.S. Tuesday night, the south got a light show of its own.
Local police reported calls over a “ball of fire” and a “mysterious flash of light” in the sky from concerned residents from Oklahoma to the Florida Panhandle.

NewsFeed’s Believe It or Not (with help from the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office) has found that it was in fact a meteor, probably just the size of a pebble, that hit near Poteau Mountain, Oklahoma.
