What is B.J. Raji – all 337 pounds of him – doing outside calculus class?

Getting ready for the Super Bowl. Because of the inclement weather that has hit North Texas, Raji, a defensive lineman for the Green Bay Packers, and his teammates practiced at Highland Park High School’s indoor facility on Wednesday, and will likely do so the rest of the week.

But this place isn’t a creaky gym with double doors. Since this is Texas, where high school football is religion and home to Friday Night Lights, Highland Park has a $4 million practice field that opened in August. The Dallas public school is ranked 71st in U.S. News and World Report’s list of the top 100 high schools.

No word yet whether Aaron Rodgers will hit the cafeteria after third period.
