While Newsfeed loves to proudly watch the twilight’s last reaming, turns out, that’s not what Francis Scott Key wrote.

In her performance at the 2011 Super Bowl, Christina Aguilera performed a little improvisation in her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

While the songstress deserves some credit for choosing to sing the song live in front of millions, there’s little excuse for forgetting the words to America’s beloved and oft-performed anthem. Instead of singing, “O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming,” Aguilera inserted the line, “What so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last reaming.”
