This is one mistake he’s sure not to make twice.

The Reagan name reappeared in full force this weekend thanks to the Gipper’s 100th birthday, but this news is actually quite painful. A secret service agent assigned to help protect #40’s wife, Nancy Reagan, injured himself Friday when his gun accidentally fired a shot into his hip as he placed it in his holster.

The agent, whose identity will remain under wraps, was not badly injured.

Ironically, the bodyguard was practicing his shooting skills at a firing range in Camarillo, Calif. when he shot himself. The Secret Service says it will investigate the shooting, but NewsFeed thinks they will uncover nothing more than an accident.
