We all know that “life is a box of chocolates,” or that we should “get busy living,” and, of course, that “the force will be with you, always,” but wouldn’t it be useful to have the most inspiring comments from the history of cinema in one convenient place? Wonder no more.

Derek Stettler has put together clips from 39 iconic movies (and, er, Michael starring John Travolta) and compiled a mash-up of “reel wisdom.” And so we get the likes of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Star Wars (actually, there’s a little too much Star Wars), The Shawshank Redemption and Dead Poets Society generally making us better people and giving us hope for a brighter future.
