Best and Worst Dressed at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards

Disney teen queen Selena Gomez looked impeccable in this gold J. Mendel gown. What's so great about this look is how age-appropriate it is, from the cut of her dress to her fun, hot pink lip color. It wouldn't hurt for Miley Cyrus to take notes.

It didn't surprise us that Nicole Kidman brought the Hollywood glamour to music's biggest night. The actress picked a strapless floral dress with a ruffled, mermaid skirt.

Glee star Naya Rivera opted for a silver mullet dress with a subtle pattern. The volume of the shift's skirt and train was especially pretty.

There were tons of sparkly, metallic dresses on last night's red carpet, but Julianne Hough stood out in a Catherine Malandrino gown that had a bold, watercolor print.

Rihanna won our best-dressed award in this stunning Jean-Paul Gaultier gown. The sheer dress had bands of fluffy white fabric, which may or may not have covered her privates. But leave it to Rihanna to pull off a see-through dress with class.

We give Nicki Minaj credit for having the confidence to rock this head-to-toe leopard print ensemble. But for us, it was just too much. The animal print even found its way into her hairline.

They say in fashion, "Less is More." But it wouldn't have hurt Adrienne Lau to wear a bit more fabric last night. From the plunging neckline to the stripped skirt, this dress felt like it was trying too hard.

We wish Jordin Sparks had picked something a little less, umm, boring for music's biggest awards show. There's nothing terribly offensive about this strapless stain shift, but all that fabric from the extra skirt wasn't flattering. And maybe Jordan could have saved the red-and-pink color combination for Valentine's Day.

Paramore singer Hayley Williams attended the Grammys in a custom Jeremy Scott frock. The sparkly black top is great, but the outfit's hot pink feathery skirt seemed misplaced. And made for a bit of an eyesore against Hayley's Ariel-red hair.

It's rare that a dress has no redeeming qualities. But everything about the red number Gram'ma Funk chose—from the too-tight top to the too-short skirt—screamed tacky to us. And the black leather gloves aren't helping.
